Lion Family Connections Meetings
For the 2025-2026 school year, we will be alternating months between community wide meetings focused on sharing information and building community (Sept, Nov, Jan, March, May) and working meetings focused on ongoing projects and planning (Oct, Dec, Feb, April). Both types of meetings are open to everyone!

Get ready, Muir! On April 10, 2026, John Muir Elementary students will hit the pavement for our 6th annual Move-a-Thon—a full day of movement, community, and fun.
We’re joining 16 other Southeast Seattle schools to get kids active and raise critical funds for our school community. Together, we’re aiming high—and we need everyone to be part of it!
John Muir Presents: The Lion King
Join us for a heartwarming and fun-filled presentation of The Lion King—brought to life by our talented 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade student performers! Follow young Simba and his friends on an exciting adventure across the Savanna as they learn important lessons about courage and responsibility. Perfect for families and friends, this joyful performance is sure to bring smiles, laughter, and plenty of pride in our amazing young performers! There are three performances open to family, friends, and our John Muir community on April 2nd and 3rd at 6 pm and April 4th at 1pm.
