We’re excited to invite you to our last PTA meeting of the year, which will take place on Tuesday, June 10th at 6:00pm in the John Muir Library and on Zoom. We will be voting on next year’s Board positions, listen to a brief budget update, and will leave time to enjoy dinner and socialize. Dinner and childcare provided. You do not need to be an official PTA member to attend — all are welcome!

• District staff will present on the increasing impact of the opioid crisis on SPS communities and share critical substance use prevention strategies.

• PTA/School Admin will present on a new Social/Emotional Learning Universal Screener tool to be rolled out at John Muir in the near future.

• PTA will share fundraising updates, including plans for this year’s Move-A-Thon.

We’ll also have a potluck dinner — bring something to share! Childcare and interpretation services will be provided.

This month, the PTA will host a teacher panel to help caregivers prepare for family conferences, share highlights from our first community meeting, and provide updates from our PTA teams.
