SESSFA Move-a-Thon
On April 10, 2026, John Muir Elementary is lacing up to support the Southeast Seattle Schools Fundraising Alliance (SESSFA) through our 6th annual Move-a-Thon—part fun run/walk, part community celebration, and part BIG fundraising push. Together, more than 6,700 Southeast Seattle students from 17 schools will be moving toward an ambitious (and totally doable!) $600,000 goal. More than half of what we raise comes from individual supporters like you. Every gift—big or small—helps fuel important programs at Muir and across all 17 SESSFA schools.
Our goal? $15,000 for Muir! Let’s do this!

Lion Family Connections is a volunteer group of families, teachers, and staff who support and celebrate the success, diversity, well-being, and equitable opportunity of all students at John Muir. We serve as a liaison between families and the school, advocate for all students, sponsor fun events, and provide financial support to classrooms.
